The challenge of fusing what we eat and drink to how we exercise is best tackled through determining the optimal food and beverage choices before and after a work-out.  The best approach is to keep it simple before a work-out and always stay hydrated.  Digestion takes more energy from your body than any other process, so if your stomach is trying to digest food you’ll have less energy to exercise.  For your post work-out recovery you still want to give your body easily digested foods and good quality protein to free up your body to recover. The Amazing Meal is a great fast solution to have ready before and after your workouts.  And in terms of hydration, one of the best things you can drink during and afterwards is coconut water. It has electrolytes to help hydrate and recover the body.
