Good alkaline fats such as avocados, nuts, seeds and cold-pressed oils are nutritious, energizing, cleansing, and essential to your diet because your body needs these fats in order to function properly. Plus, good raw fats keep your blood sugar stable and sustain your appetite to reduce and even eliminate cravings.

Bad fats include almost all processed foods with refined and heated oils like safflower, canola and hydrogenated soybean oil-all which are acidic and even toxic.
