Carbohydrates are an important source of energy for the body, but I challenge you to learn enough so that you can be one step ahead of them at all times.  Eating the right carbs can actually help maintain your weight and mind; your brain cannot function without them.  Simple carbs such as soda, chips, refined and process foods not only decrease energy but stick to the body as acidic abdominal fat. Choose complex carbs instead which are responsible for sustained energy, weight management, daily cleansing and much more.  Good carbs include foods in their natural state such as whole sprouted grains, fresh fruits, veggies and beans.
