Two Week Challenge | Day 6

Natural sustained weight loss is dependent on analyzing your diet and energy within the context of your total lifestyle as opposed to only using the traditional measurements of calories and BMI. Calories are a great way to measure quantity of food but not quality. The quality of a food depends very little on the calorie total so I challenge you to avoid empty calories that are filled with white flour, refined oil, salts and sugar—essentially void of any nutrients.  Choose foods that are nutrient-dense so your body feels satisfied longer and you won’t actually need to eat as much food at one time. To directly influence weight loss through food, try and eat 50% to even 75% raw foods in each meal. Also make sure you are choosing daily cleansing foods and beverages such as a green superfood drink every morning to help cleanse the excess fat contracted from the previous day.
