
Blaine Lints - Endurance Athlete

Blaine's Bio: Blaine is the newest and youngest athlete to join the Amazing Grass family at only 16 years old. Blaine won his age group in 2 triathlons, and finished the Lake Stevents Ironman 70.3 to became the second-youngest person to ever do an Ironman 70.3, at the age of 14.
Blaine's Qualifications:
- North Face Endurance Challenge in Bellingham, WA, 2009. Finishing the half-marathon with an age-group win and a 5th place overall.
- 2009 ountains to Sound event, a 5 person relay, which he did solo. The event includes a 23 mile mountain bike, a 46 mile road bike, a 12 mile kayak, a 13.5 mile run, and a 6 mile run. A total of over 100 miles! He took second place in that event.
- 2010 Blaine hopes to turn pro in triathlons by placing top 8 in 3 USAT sanctioned races with over 500 people. He feels this would be a great stepping stone towards his hopeful career in endurance sports.
- May 22-23, 2010, University of Washington's Relay for Life. Blaine has pledged to run 130 miles in 24 hours. Completing the run would mean going nonstop for a whole calendar day while raising money for cancer research. It'd also earn him the title of "Most miles run by a teenager in 24 hours."
Blaine says, "Amazing Grass has helped me perform at my best in numerous ways. After taking the product I have been able to handle more rigor in my training schedule, along with an increase in training volume. Not only has it helped my physical performance in sports, my mental performance has also improved tremendously. I have been able to focus better and am less prone to distractions within and outside of sports".
