Immunity Mushroom BlendThe mushroom powders in this proprietary blend are produced by a Solid State Fermentation (SSF) process whereby vegetative tissue cultures of the mushrooms are inoculated (planted) into autoclaved organic oats in bioreactor growing units that are equipped with air exchange filters.

The mushroom mycelium digests the organic oat substrate during the incubation/fermentation period and converts the nutrients into mushroom tissue. After completion of the incubation/fermentation period, the mushroom mycelial biomass contains the mycelium, fruit body primordia, immature fruit bodies, extracellular compounds (enzymes and cellular protective compounds), and remnants of the oat substrate.

Each of the mushroom species included in the blend is produced separately in batches. The biomass is air dried at low temperatures (<118º F.)to less than 6% moisture and then finely milled. The biomass is not extracted with water, alcohol or any other solvents and thus does not contain any solvent residues.
